This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use FinanceGuru.
If you choose to use FinanceGuru , then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the application. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
FinanceGuru does not collect any Personal Information. The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google Play Services
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use FinanceGuru , in case of the app not working properly (error in using, app crashing etc), we collect data and information on your phone called Logs. These Logs may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when running FinanceGuru, the time and date of your app usage, and other such statistics purely meant for diagnosing the issue and fixing it.
Android Permissions
FinanceGuru will explicitly ask the following permissions to only enable features in the app. Not providing these permissions will not affect the basic functionality of FinanceGuru. You can continue using all capabilities of the app even without granting these permissions.
• Permission to read your phone storage – This will allow the user to export data from FinanceGuru to a specific folder called FinanceGuru on the device storage, in CSV format. Without this permission, you can only view your data through FinanceGuru and cannot view FinanceGuru data in any other way.
• Permission to read SMS Messages and Contacts – This will allow the user to parse SMS messages in the device for any new transactions and allow the user to create transactions in FinanceGuru using content in the SMS messages. Without this permission, creating transactions from SMS will have to be done manually. We do not use the information from the SMS and Contacts for any other purpose.
Security
All your data is stored securely in an encrypted form on your device in an internal device storage location that can only be accessed by the FinanceGuru app. Optionally, if the user chooses to integrate with Google Drive, the data is stored securely in an encrypted form on the user’s Google Drive account. Even though this file is visible on the user’s Google Drive account, the file can only be read by the FinanceGuru app. If the user chooses to provide phone Storage access as mentioned above, FinanceGuru data will be exported as an un-encrypted human-readable text (CSV file format) in a folder called FinanceGuru on the phone/device storage. FinanceGuru does not take responsibility for the security of this exported data.
Privacy Policy of other sites
FinanceGuru may use the services of other sites. When you use a feature that accesses other sites, you will be either directed to that site or use a service exposed by the site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
